COMPANY HISTORY
Dr. Mattew opened his own pet clinic in New Zealand, as a veterinarian who has been practicing for more than ten years. After meeting many "patients," Dr. Mathews found that 80% of the pet diseases seen in the clinic were ultimately caused by poor feeding, malnutrition, or imbalance.
Dr. Matthew decided to lead the team to customize nutritious meals for these pets. "The scientific intake of nutrition can prevent illness before it happens and lays a healthy foundation for the pet's life."
Dr. Matthew found that Maori people like hunting, fishing, and picking, tasting fresh food and live free healthy life. All natural and fresh foods are from a local mountain as the name of “MCCLELLAND”.
Dr. Matthew started to travel to all corners of New Zealand to select quality ingredients, regardless of distance and cost - King Salmon on Stewart Island, Green-lipped Mussels on the Marburg Strait, Free-range grass-fed cattle and sheep, sika deer, and turkey, without genetically modified fruits and vegetables. Many of these ingredients come from the Maori people's hometown, and they planted and raised them by hand.
Dr. Matthew cooperated with local university and created own brand “ MCCLELLAND” – source of natural and fresh foods. His leading scheme, processing natural ingredients into scientifically matched functional foods, which solve six major health problems of pet intestines, fur, joints, brain, cardiovascular, and oral cavity, providing comprehensive care for pets at different physiological stages.
